Jakarta – Indonesia’s electric vehicle industry is moving beyond passenger cars and motorcycles, and PEVS 2026 aims to reflect that shift. The upcoming PERIKLINDO Electric Vehicle Show will introduce a broader view of electrification, covering land, air, and marine mobility technologies.
Organized by Dyandra Promosindo in collaboration with the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO), the fifth edition of PEVS will take place from October 29 to November 1, 2026. The exhibition will occupy Halls B3–C3 at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran in Jakarta.
Under the theme “The Future of Clean and Efficient Mobility,” PEVS 2026 will bring together vehicle brands, technology providers, and supporting industries. Its expanded Mobility Zone will highlight applications ranging from electric public transport to cargo drones, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, and marine mobility solutions.
The approach reflects a broader view of electrification. Rather than focusing exclusively on private electric cars, the exhibition will explore how new technologies could support different transportation needs.
PEVS 2026 Expands Its Mobility Zone
The Mobility Zone will feature three main sectors: Land Mobility, Air Mobility, and Marine Mobility. Each will highlight different applications of emerging transportation technologies.
Land Mobility will cover electric vehicles and supporting infrastructure. Visitors can explore electric buses, logistics and commercial vehicles, electric motorcycles, and charging stations.
The exhibition will also feature Jakarta’s public transportation operators, including LRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, and MRT Jakarta. Their participation will connect the discussion about electrification with public transport and urban mobility.
This broader approach matters because electric mobility depends on more than the vehicles themselves. Charging infrastructure, public transport networks, and commercial fleet operations all influence how effectively electric vehicles can serve everyday transportation needs.
By bringing these elements together, PEVS aims to give visitors a clearer picture of the wider electric mobility ecosystem.
Cargo Drones and eVTOL Technology Take the Spotlight
Air Mobility will introduce visitors to technologies designed for emerging aviation applications. The sector will feature cargo drones and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Participating companies include Frogs Indonesia, Nirawak.id, and TAU.
Cargo drones can support applications such as moving goods and transporting supplies. Meanwhile, eVTOL technology explores new approaches to vertical take-off and landing using electric propulsion.
These technologies remain distinct from conventional road vehicles. Their practical adoption also depends on factors such as safety, regulation, infrastructure, operating costs, and technical readiness.
Their presence at PEVS 2026 will nevertheless broaden the conversation around electric mobility. It will allow visitors to explore how electrification could influence transportation beyond roads.
For industry participants, the showcase also creates an opportunity to introduce emerging technologies to potential partners and the wider public.
Marine Mobility Brings Electrification to Water Transport
PEVS 2026 will also introduce a dedicated Marine Mobility sector. This area will focus on electric vehicle technology and sustainable solutions for maritime transportation.
The organizers expect the sector to highlight applications in cargo transport, tourism, and port infrastructure. These areas offer different opportunities for improving transport efficiency and exploring lower-emission operations.
IKAME Water Gear and J7Seven will participate in the Marine Mobility showcase.
Electrification in the maritime sector presents challenges that differ from those on land. Battery capacity, vessel range, charging access, operating conditions, and infrastructure requirements all influence its suitability for particular applications.
By including marine technology alongside road and air mobility, PEVS will present a wider perspective on the potential role of electrification across transportation sectors.
More Than 38 Brands to Join PEVS 2026
Beyond the Mobility Zone, PEVS 2026 will feature more than 38 brands across electric vehicles and supporting industries.
The passenger car lineup includes BAIC, BYD, Chery, Denza, DFSK, MAB, MG, Polytron, and Wuling. Electric motorcycle participants include Alva, AHM, Indomobil E-Motor, Polytron, Selis, and United.
The exhibition will also offer programs designed to connect visitors with products and technology. Indoor test drives and test rides will allow attendees to experience selected vehicles from participating brands.
Other activities include the EV Student Showcase, where students can present prototypes and technology ideas. The event will also feature EV Fest, a modified electric vehicle showcase developed with IAM and Adipro.
Business matching will provide another opportunity for companies to meet potential partners and explore commercial opportunities within the electric vehicle ecosystem.
Together, these programs aim to connect product innovation with consumer interest and industry development.
Cashback Program and Visitor Information
PEVS 2026 will introduce a cashback program offering incentives worth up to Rp200 million for eligible purchases of two-wheel and four-wheel vehicles. Visitors should check the official terms and conditions for eligibility, redemption procedures, and applicable limitations.
The exhibition will also host educational talks at the EV Activity Hub Stage. Other scheduled activities include the Miss PEVS program and the PEVS Push Bike Race on November 1.
PEVS 2026 will open to the public on October 29 from noon to 7 p.m. On October 30 and 31, opening hours will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On November 1, the exhibition will close at 6 p.m., following a 10 a.m. opening.
Admission will be free with online registration through the event’s official website, pevs-id.com.
A Broader View of Indonesia’s Electric Mobility Future
By expanding beyond cars and motorcycles, PEVS 2026 aims to show how electrification could influence a wider range of transportation systems.
The combination of road vehicles, charging infrastructure, cargo drones, eVTOL technology, and marine solutions will offer visitors a broader view of emerging mobility applications. It will also create opportunities for businesses to introduce technologies and explore partnerships.
However, wider adoption will depend on practical factors, including infrastructure, costs, regulation, and technological readiness. An exhibition alone cannot resolve these challenges, but it can help connect stakeholders and introduce new solutions to the market.
As Indonesia continues to develop its electric vehicle ecosystem, PEVS 2026 will provide a platform for exploring how different forms of mobility could evolve. Its expanded Mobility Zone will be a key feature to watch when the exhibition opens in Jakarta on October 29.
