Mitsubishi Motors Reaches 300 Dealerships as After-Sales Access Expands in Indonesia

Mitsubishi Motors GBI Ngabang dealership in West Kalimantan, offering integrated sales, service, and spare parts for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.

Ngabang – Mitsubishi Motors has reached a new milestone in Indonesia, bringing its official dealership network to 300 locations nationwide. The milestone comes with the opening of Mitsubishi Motors GBI Ngabang in Landak Regency, West Kalimantan, where customers can access vehicle sales, servicing, and genuine spare parts at one integrated facility.

PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) opened the dealership in partnership with PT Gemilang Berlian Indah (GBI). It is the first official Mitsubishi Motors dealership in Landak Regency, extending the brand’s reach into an area supported by agricultural, plantation, trading, and industrial activities.

The new facility reflects an important aspect of automotive retail: a dealership network needs to support customers beyond the initial vehicle purchase. Access to maintenance, repairs, and genuine replacement parts also shapes the ownership experience, particularly for drivers who depend on their vehicles for daily transportation or business operations.

A New Dealership for Landak’s Growing Mobility Needs

Landak Regency presents a mix of passenger-car and commercial-vehicle requirements. Families need vehicles for everyday mobility, while businesses may rely on vehicles to transport goods, visit work sites, and support regional operations.

Ngabang serves as a local activity center, making it a strategic location for the new dealership. Situated on the Lintas Kalimantan Poros Tengah road in Amboyo Inti, the facility is positioned to serve customers in Landak and surrounding areas.

The dealership provides integrated 3S services for both passenger cars (PC) and light commercial vehicles (LCV). Customers can explore vehicle options, arrange purchases, schedule maintenance, and obtain genuine spare parts through one location.

For existing owners, having an authorized service facility nearby can make routine maintenance and repairs more accessible. It can also reduce the need to travel farther for services that require manufacturer-approved procedures or genuine components.

MMKSI President Director Atsushi Kurita attended the dealership’s inauguration alongside Hokwirman Bachtiar, President Director of Srikandi Diamond Motors Group.

Kurita said the company’s dealership expansion supports its commitment to building long-term customer relationships. Under the “Passion to Care” philosophy, Mitsubishi Motors aims to provide relevant products and services throughout the ownership journey, rather than focusing solely on vehicle sales.

Inside the Mitsubishi Motors GBI Ngabang Facility

The dealership occupies a 19,168-square-meter site, with a total building area of 929 square meters. Its showroom covers 329 square meters, while the workshop spans 570 square meters.

The workshop includes six service bays: five for general servicing and one dedicated to Mitsubishi Express Service. The facility also features an inspection line and has the stated capacity to handle up to 22 vehicles per day.

These facilities support a range of after-sales activities, from scheduled maintenance to vehicle inspections and repairs. The dealership also provides a customer waiting area, high-speed internet access, and test-drive services.

Test drives allow prospective buyers to assess vehicle comfort, driving characteristics, and practicality before making a purchase decision. Meanwhile, the integrated service operation gives existing customers a local point of contact for ongoing maintenance.

The combination of sales and after-sales services is particularly relevant in regional markets, where distance and travel time can influence how customers maintain their vehicles.

Why After-Sales Support Matters

A wider dealership network can improve access to official services, but its value depends on more than the number of locations. Customers also need reliable workshop operations, trained technicians, suitable parts availability, and clear service information.

For passenger-car owners, regular maintenance helps keep vehicles operating as intended. For businesses that use light commercial vehicles, workshop access can also affect vehicle availability and operating schedules.

The GBI Ngabang facility is designed to address both categories through its combined passenger-car and light commercial vehicle services. Its six service bays and stated daily capacity provide a practical foundation for handling customer visits, although actual waiting times and service turnaround will depend on demand and the work required.

Genuine spare parts are another important element of the ownership experience. Access to components intended for the relevant vehicle can help customers follow recommended repair and maintenance procedures.

For Mitsubishi Motors, expanding the authorized network therefore involves both geographic reach and the ability to support customers after they leave the showroom.

Opening Promotions Add Value for Customers

To mark the dealership’s opening, Mitsubishi Motors GBI Ngabang is offering additional cashback of Rp3 million on purchases of selected models: the Pajero Sport, Destinator, Xforce, Xpander Cross, Xpander, and Triton.

The additional cashback offer runs from October 1 to October 31, 2026, according to the announcement.

The dealership is also offering after-sales promotions from October 9 through December 31, 2026. These include discounts of up to 21% on eligible spare parts, a 15% labor discount under the applicable program, and a 35% discount on tire purchases.

Customers should confirm the detailed terms, eligible components, labor-package requirements, and availability directly with the dealership before arranging a purchase or service appointment.

A Milestone Beyond the Showroom

Reaching 300 official dealerships marks a significant point in Mitsubishi Motors’ Indonesian retail network development. The opening in Landak also demonstrates how the company is extending its presence beyond established urban markets.

For customers in the region, the immediate benefit is a new local destination for vehicle purchases, maintenance, repairs, and genuine spare parts. For the company, the dealership adds another point of contact in a market where passenger transportation and commercial mobility serve different but equally important needs.

As Indonesia’s automotive market continues to develop, the strength of a dealership network will depend not only on its size but also on the quality and accessibility of the services it provides.

With its integrated 3S operation, Mitsubishi Motors GBI Ngabang adds another link between the brand and customers in West Kalimantan, extending the ownership experience beyond the initial sale.
