Jakarta – Big Bang Auto Festival 2026 will bring year-end automotive promotions to Jakarta, offering visitors the opportunity to explore cars, motorcycles, electric two-wheelers, and automotive accessories under one roof. The event will take place as part of Big Bang Festival 2026, combining vehicle promotions with shopping, entertainment, and family activities during the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
Organized by Rev Matrix Factory (RMF) as the exclusive automotive partner of PT Expo Indonesia Jaya (Expoindo), Big Bang Auto Festival will run from December 25, 2026, to January 5, 2027. The exhibition will occupy Hall B2 at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta.
The organizers introduced the automotive event at an official launch held at The Hub, Sinar Mas Land, in the Rasuna Epicentrum area of South Jakarta, on October 21, 2026.
Cars Under Rp500 Million and Motorcycles Under Rp50 Million
One of the main attractions of Big Bang Auto Festival 2026 is its focus on automotive products across different price ranges. The organizers plan to showcase cars priced below Rp500 million and motorcycles costing less than Rp50 million.
The exhibition will also feature automotive accessories and spare parts promoted through a year-end clearance concept. These offerings could appeal to consumers planning vehicle purchases or looking for replacement parts and accessories during the holiday season.
However, the organizers have not yet detailed individual vehicle models, participating brands, or specific promotional prices. Visitors should check official event announcements for confirmed offers and the availability of particular products.
The event will feature conventional vehicles alongside selected electric vehicles. This mix is intended to give visitors more options, whether they are considering a conventional motorcycle, exploring an electric two-wheeler, or comparing cars within their budget.
Electric Motorcycles Take Part in the Exhibition
Electric motorcycles will be another important part of the festival. RMF is collaborating with the Indonesian Electric Motorcycle Industry Association (AISMOLI) to introduce electric two-wheelers to a wider audience.
The collaboration aims to combine product marketing with direct consumer education. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn about electric motorcycle products and understand their potential role in everyday transportation.
Budi Setiyadi, chairman of AISMOLI, said the event could help introduce electric vehicles, expand the market, and create demand through direct engagement with consumers.
The launch also featured representatives from Indonesia’s Ministry of Transportation and state-owned electricity company PLN. Their participation highlighted the importance of cooperation between government, manufacturers, industry associations, and infrastructure providers in developing the country’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
PLN emphasized the value of helping consumers understand charging facilities and battery-swapping services. These are important considerations for people evaluating whether an electric motorcycle suits their daily travel needs.
Vehicle Auctions and Cross-Category Promotions
Beyond conventional exhibition booths, Big Bang Auto Festival 2026 will include car and motorcycle auctions. This gives the event another dimension beyond standard retail promotions, although further details about the auction schedule and participation requirements have not yet been announced.
The automotive exhibition will also be integrated with the broader Big Bang Festival shopping experience. Organizers see opportunities to combine automotive promotions with other product categories, including electronics and lifestyle goods.
Potential bundled offers could create additional value for consumers while allowing participating businesses to reach shoppers who might not otherwise visit an automotive exhibition.
For automotive companies, the festival provides an opportunity to introduce products to a broader audience. Big Bang Festival attracts visitors interested in shopping, music, food, and family entertainment, creating a different environment from a traditional automotive show.
Rudi MF, founder of RMF, said the concept aims to bring automotive products closer to consumers by integrating vehicle shopping into a wider year-end festival experience.
Novry Hetharia, operational director of Expoindo, also welcomed the partnership, describing it as a collaboration intended to support the development of Indonesia’s automotive industry.
