Omoda & Jaecoo Expands Bandung Network With New 3S Dealership

Bandung – Chinese car brands are becoming a larger part of Indonesia’s automotive market. Wholesale sales of Chinese brands reached 94,971 units from January to July 2026, up 82 percent from the same period a year earlier, according to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (GAIKINDO).

The growth has also brought more brands and more dealerships into the market. GAIKINDO has reported that Chinese automakers are expanding their dealer networks in Indonesia as they seek to reach more customers and provide local after-sales support.

Omoda & Jaecoo is part of that expansion. The company has opened Omoda & Jaecoo Trimegah Sudirman Bandung, adding another dealership to its Indonesian network.

The Bandung outlet is the 43rd dealership in the network. Omoda & Jaecoo has set a target of reaching 80 dealerships across Indonesia.

A New Dealership in Bandung

The new dealership is located on Jl. Sudirman No. 633, Warung Muncang, Bandung Kulon, Bandung.

It occupies a 2,230-square-meter site, with a building covering 2,075 square meters. The facility uses a 3S format, covering sales, service and spare parts.

The dealership will also add a Body Repair facility. This expands the range of vehicle services available at the location beyond routine maintenance.

Six vehicles are displayed at the outlet. They include the Omoda O4, Jaecoo J5 EV, Jaecoo J7 SHS-P and Jaecoo J8 SHS-P ARDIS.

The lineup gives customers in Bandung a local location to see models from both brands. It also includes the Jaecoo J5 EV, one of the models that has contributed to Jaecoo’s sales in Indonesia.

After-Sales Capacity

The dealership has eight service bays, including a wheel alignment bay. Its stated capacity reaches up to 20 vehicles per day.

It also has charging facilities for electrified Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles. Customers can use a service car for certain after-sales needs at their location.

The outlet operates every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The contact number provided for sales and after-sales information is 0877-2508-5757.

The facilities are relevant as Chinese brands increase their presence in Indonesia. A growing vehicle population requires more locations for routine maintenance, repairs and parts support.

Jaecoo’s Position in the Market

The Bandung dealership also comes as Jaecoo expands its presence in Indonesia.

The company stated that Jaecoo recorded 23,359 units in Indonesia from January through August 2026. The Jaecoo J5 EV was one of the main contributors to the figure.

The figure should be read in the context of the wider growth of Chinese automotive brands. Jaecoo ranked among the leading Chinese brands in Indonesia during the first half of 2026, according to data reported from GAIKINDO.

The Jaecoo J5 EV has also been a significant part of the brand’s sales performance. The company reported cumulative retail sales of 20,186 units for the model from January through July 2026.

As more vehicles enter the market, dealership coverage becomes part of the competition between brands. Sales are only one part of the equation. Customers also need access to maintenance, spare parts and other ownership services after purchasing a vehicle.

From 43 Dealers Toward 80

The Bandung opening brings Omoda & Jaecoo’s stated dealer count to 43 locations.

The company is targeting 80 dealerships nationwide. Reaching that figure would require another 37 locations beyond the current network.

The expansion reflects a broader pattern among Chinese automakers in Indonesia. Several brands have been adding dealerships outside their initial markets as they build sales and after-sales coverage.

For Omoda & Jaecoo, Bandung adds another location in West Java. The city also gives the brands access to customers beyond Jakarta and other major automotive centers.

The new dealership therefore represents more than an additional showroom. It is part of the infrastructure needed to support vehicles already entering the Indonesian market.

As Chinese brands continue to increase their share of Indonesia’s automotive market, dealership and after-sales networks will become an increasingly visible part of the competition. Omoda & Jaecoo’s expansion in Bandung is one example of how that competition is moving beyond vehicle launches and into the ownership experience.
