Jakarta – TVS Ronin Agonda brings coastal custom styling to Indonesia’s modern-retro motorcycle market. TVS Motor Company officially launched the motorcycle in Jakarta on October 29, 2026. The new model combines distinctive styling with familiar mechanical specifications.
The Agonda edition draws inspiration from Agonda Beach in Goa, India. Its design reflects the coastal area’s white sand, blue waters, and relaxed atmosphere. As a result, the motorcycle stands apart through its distinctive color scheme.
TVS positions the Ronin Agonda as part of its Base variant lineup. The motorcycle retains the 225.9cc engine and core features of the standard model. However, its exclusive graphics give it a different visual identity.
Inspired by Agonda Beach in Goa
The name Agonda comes from a beach in South Goa, India. The destination is known for its white sand and tranquil coastal scenery. TVS translates these elements into a distinctive motorcycle design.
The fuel tank features a white base with thin red and blue pinstripes. Together, these colors create a three-tone appearance. The white headlamp cover also complements the overall design.
Meanwhile, black components provide contrast across the motorcycle. This combination gives the Ronin Agonda a recognizable look without extensive bodywork changes.
The design also connects the production motorcycle with custom motorcycle culture. TVS first unveiled the Agonda edition at its MotoSoul event in Goa in December 2025.
The model brings that custom-inspired appearance to a wider audience. Riders can enjoy a distinctive design without needing to modify a standard motorcycle themselves.
A Modern-Retro Motorcycle with Familiar Performance
Despite its special appearance, the TVS Ronin Agonda retains the familiar Ronin powertrain. It uses a 225.9cc, single-cylinder engine with a four-valve SOHC configuration.
The oil-cooled engine produces 20.4 PS at 7,750 rpm. It also delivers 19.93 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm. A five-speed manual transmission transfers power to the rear wheel.
These specifications place the Ronin Agonda in the modern-retro segment. Its design combines classic visual cues with contemporary engineering.
Furthermore, the motorcycle offers features for everyday riding. Its riding modes and low-speed assistance technology help address different road conditions.
The Agonda edition therefore focuses on visual character rather than increased engine performance. Buyers get a distinctive finish while retaining the standard mechanical package.
Safety and Convenience Features
The TVS Ronin Agonda includes several features designed to support daily riding. These include single-channel ABS on the front wheel, Rain and Urban riding modes, Glide Through Technology, and a slipper clutch.
The ABS helps reduce the risk of front-wheel lockup during hard braking. However, this version uses a single-channel system rather than the dual-channel setup offered on the Top variant.
Meanwhile, Rain mode adapts the motorcycle for wet riding conditions. Urban mode suits regular road use. Riders can select the mode that best fits their conditions.
Glide Through Technology, or GTT, helps the motorcycle move at low speeds. It works in first, second, and third gears. This feature can be useful in slow-moving traffic.
The slipper clutch also supports smoother downshifts. It helps reduce sudden jolts when the rider changes to a lower gear.
These features add practical value to the motorcycle. They also help balance its custom-inspired appearance with everyday usability.
TVS Ronin Agonda Price in Indonesia
TVS launched the Ronin Agonda in Indonesia at an on-the-road price of IDR 37,080,000 for the Jadetabek area.
The Agonda joins the existing Ronin range, which includes the Base and Top variants. The Base lineup offers Lightning Black and Agonda color options. Meanwhile, the Top variant comes in Nimbus Grey and Midnight Blue.
The Top variant also offers additional equipment. These include dual-channel ABS, a visor, a USB charger, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and a digital instrument cluster with SmartXonnect connectivity.
Therefore, buyers should compare the available equipment before choosing a variant. The Agonda’s main distinction is its coastal-inspired styling, while the Top variant offers additional features.
Expanding TVS’s Modern-Retro Lineup
The launch of the Ronin Agonda expands TVS’s choices for Indonesian motorcycle buyers. It also highlights the brand’s use of custom culture as a source of product inspiration.
Anthony Ho, Regional Business Head of TVS Motor Company for Indonesia and Singapore, described the launch as a strategic step in expanding the company’s portfolio.
He also noted the positive reception of the Ronin in Indonesia over the past three years. The Agonda edition aims to appeal to modern-retro enthusiasts, adventure riders, and fans of motorcycle customization.
Ultimately, the TVS Ronin Agonda offers a different take on the existing Ronin platform. Its coastal-inspired graphics provide a clear visual identity without changing the core engine specifications.
For riders who value distinctive styling, that combination could be the model’s main attraction. It brings custom-inspired design into a production motorcycle while retaining features suited to everyday use.
